I met Josh and Caroline at a wedding I shot in 2025 at Radnor Rooms in Bristol. This was wedding stood out for me, it was a wedding that I enjoyed so much and had the best feedback, I went back into my full time job, and told them I was leaving with immediate effect. I knew I had to shoot more weddings like this one (Jack and Chloe Wedding at Radnor Rooms). So once Josh and Caroline got in touch and mentioned to me they liked my style, and were keen to have me as their photographer, I knew they would be a great couple as everyone at that wedding was absolutely fantastic and made it such a good day. There was just one stumbling block. I had a prior booking for the evening. 

To my shock, Josh and Caroline were happy with me to photograph the day, leaving just after the wedding breakfast to get to my previous booking which was a such a huge compliment for me.

  • Mike was fantastic, all the way from the point we first spoke to him months before all the way up to the day. He took incredible photos, which really showcased the joy we all felt during the big day. We loved every photo and found ourselves full of emotion looking back at them. I would highly recommend Mike and his incredible photos to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

This was my second visit to Lapwing Farm, Caroline was getting ready in the rooms just up on the bank overlooking Somerset and Josh arrived a few hours before to make sure the venue was all ready. Lapwing Farm is a dry hire venue, essentially you have full control over everything, bring your own drinks in, catering, decorations etc meaning the wonderful personalities of Josh and Caroline made this wedding something to remember. So much colour and vibes, one I'll never forget.

As the guests arrived, drinks were had as the ceremony time crept upon us. Caroline had a very emotional first look with her father, just out of sight as the bridesmaid stop any wandering eyes peeping through.

The ceremony was held by a close family friend, overlooking the rolling Somerset hills, and was full of laughs, tears and joy! Literally everyone was smiling throughout!

Following the ceremony, I had the pleasure to capture all the group photographs, candids and some amazing speeches followed by some incredible food by Ebbies Kitchen!
